SubjectWell helps patients with chronic illness get access to innovative clinical research that provide new treatments and devices. We help doctor’s offices nationwide complete clinical trials faster by referring pre-qualified candidates to increase study enrollment.

About the Position


In this role, the employee will oversee and manage multiple company level relationships and their related projects. This includes fostering relationships with Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology project teams. The successful candidate will provide regular KPIs and project updates, effectively answer client queries, and liaise as needed with internal teams. Ultimately, a successful Associate Director of Account Managment should collaborate with our Business Development Team to help them achieve quotas while keeping our clients delighted and engaged with our products and services. This position may require occasional travel.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Acts as a primary liaison between SubjectWell and customers to ensure efficient study launch, performance, and closeout according to each contractual agreement.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with new and existing client accounts.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the client organizations being supported.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of SubjectWell services for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with GCP, relevant SOP’s and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate study activities and deliverables, cleary communicate the progress of studies and proactively identify and manage issues. 
  • Develop and grow new business opportunities with existing clients and collaborate as appropriate with the Business Development Team.
  • Prepare project management reports for clients and management.
  • Oversight for development and implementation of project plans.
  • Plan, coordinate and present at internal and external meetings.
  • Developing contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of study goals. 


Qualifications and Skills


  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing and supporting projects at a Pharmaceutical Company, or Clinical Research Organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating and developing new business opportunities with existing customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, with experience identifying, conceiving and implementing improvements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and frequently-changing environment.
  • A clear, concise, and professional communication style.
  • Critical thinking to improve services, processes, and to convey issues to others; escalating issues and following up as appropriate.
  • Proficiency in computer software use, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with and across different teams.
  • Leadership experience a plus.
  • Austin Texas or willing to relocate.
