About the position

SubjectWell has a newly created position for a passionate and dynamic experienced Head of Talent to join our team. This role will be focused on full cycle recruitment and onboarding of non-technical and technical roles.  Responsible for collaborating with teams across the organization to fill mid to senior level positions. To be successful in this position means thriving in a fast-paced startup environment and working autonomously.


Responsibilities and Duties


    • Support execution of recruitment plans (for both non-technical and technical roles)
    • Develop and manage the hiring process, including interview processes and standards
  • Own the in-house recruitment function including sourcing, screening, assessment, reference checking, and offer negotiation. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop clear job descriptions, screening questions, position requirements, and recruitment strategies. 
    • Design and customize hiring stages based on each position’s requirements
    • Organize candidate data and communications
    • Support the brand and mission of SubjectWell
    • Ensure communication with candidates is prompt and professional at all stages (from the moment they apply until they are on board or turned down)
    • Review recruitment practices and make sure they are applied consistently through the entire recruiting process
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and provide recruitment training as needed
    • Form relationships with hiring managers and candidates for future opportunities
    • Advise, mentor and coach hiring managers on recruiting processes



Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of professional talent acquisition experience, including technical recruiting, across varying functional groups and career levels in a high-growth company
    • Must be able to source, recruit and hire for technical and non-technical positions
  • Experience building and refining full-cycle recruiting processes
  • Design and execution of people and talent strategy
  • Oversight of day-to-day recruiting operations
  • Experience with efficient utilization of candidate sourcing tools and implementing technical screening tools into interview processes 
    • Must be able to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills
