About the position

This position is for a Director of Performance Marketing who will be responsible for the ongoing development and success of our B2C digital marketing campaigns. This role will lead performance marketing focused on ensuring the success of SubjectWell patient recruitment and helping with acquisition strategy and execution of multiple channels including Facebook, Google, Instagram, Paid Search, Affiliates and others. Your success in this role will be based on our ability to cost effectively acquire leads at scale. 

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large scale demand generation lead buying campaigns via various display networks.  This position is based in our Austin, Texas office (post-COVID) and will partner with the Clinical, Account Management, Operations and Site Support functions to optimize the performance of individual trials in our clinical trial recruitment marketplace.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Day-to-day management of patient acquisition channels, from initial strategy to execution, optimization and reporting.
  • Direct the creation of high converting acquisition funnels and effective landing pages.
  • Create a consumer facing brand that balances patient trust and acquisition economics.
  • Track, measure, visualize and share channel, campaign and experiment performance with broader teams.
  • Continuously optimize traffic sources to improve spend efficacy and maximize expenditure ROI.
  • Test and evaluate new traffic sources.
  • Manage and grow relationships with partners and technology vendors.
  • Work closely with management team to identify areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and planning (forecasting, modeling, etc.)
  • Manage and develop staff and direct reports.
  • Nurture a positive work environment.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience managing $1M+ in media spend on Facebook campaigns
  • Experience managing $1M+ of spend on demand generation campaigns
  • Expertise in marketing platforms such as: Facebook/Instagram, paid search, affiliate marketing, GDN, Outbrain, mobile ad networks, etc.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret, and action based on findings/patterns - including Google Analytics experience.
  • Experience writing sales copy.
  • Experience optimizing landing pages.
  • Experience in clinical trial processes and/or process excellence a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Austin, Texas based or willing to relocate.
